Mrs. Claudia Abarca Flores

Degrees:
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon.
Master's degree in Appraising, Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon.

Certifications: Core Subjects with STR EC-6 Bilingual education supplemental - Spanish

I enrolled in college with the goal of becoming an architect because I had a passion for both art and math. Three years ago, I made the decision to move my family from Monterrey, Mexico, to Dallas, Texas, to pursue my true calling, being an educator. I firmly believe that every individual has the ability to learn, but it is important to approach learning in different ways and at different speeds. This belief is at the core of my teaching philosophy. I have found great joy and purpose in teaching Prek3 for the past three years. Besides pre-k, I also teach a Lego robotics club for students in grades K-8. This experience allows me to combine my love for Legos with my passion for STEM education. I find tremendous fulfillment in witnessing my students' "aha" moments throughout every activity here at Sanger.

Ms. Alejandra Tiburcio

Degrees: Masters in Urban Leadership, Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies
Certifications: EC-6, Bilingual

I've been a teacher for seven years, focusing exclusively on lower reading elementary levels—1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades. Now, as a preschool teacher, my goal is to guide young learners to recognize their potential and help them understand they can pursue any dream, regardless of size.

In the preschool environment, I aim to create a comfortable space for exploration and foster a love for learning. It's essential to plant the seed of confidence in these little ones, encouraging them to step beyond familiar boundaries. My commitment lies in laying the groundwork for a positive and open-minded approach to education, setting the stage for future academic adventures.

I have dreamt of being someone who can impact students in ways that help scholars utilize their tools of learning and help scholars be a benefit to society. As teachers, we leave ideas that will imprint values and create ideas that will remain in the lives of scholars. Since I value education, know the responsibility of being trusted with little people, and understand what it takes to help students succeed, I  pursued education and have been a teacher for six years. I have learned from teaching various grades how important it is to appreciate student growth and utilize all skills learned to help students succeed. The path of a teacher can be challenging and demanding at times, but this will not be a limitation to working on achieving higher personal goals and watching others grow. I currently speak four languages. I am currently working on pursuing other goals and retiring as a Judge :)
