To keep warm at school, students may wear sweatshirts or a jacket with the school logo or that are solid navy, black, or gray on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. If the solid navy, black, or gray sweatshirt or jacket has a large, conspicuous logo (for example, a Nike swoosh that covers the entire chest), they will have to remove it. On Thursday only, College Day, they may wear a sweatshirt or jacket with their college logo.
No hoodies will be allowed under any circumstances – even if it has the Sanger logo. A sweater with a hood is considered a hoodie and will not be allowed. A zip-up sweater with a hood is considered a hoodie and will not be allowed.
When the weather is exceptionally cold in the winter, students may wear heavy jackets with a hood. When it is raining, students may wear a raincoat with a hood. They must remove these hooded jackets and rain jackets when they get inside though.
